Series: Project LIBERTY Type: Hermaphrodite Fox Demon Age: Unknown Height: 5' 8" Hair: Orange brown/red Eyes: Amber
Xī Wàng is VERY, VERY pale. In his (for convenience sake, I will just use this method of calling) semi-human form, there are red markings on his face as well as the body.
In his actual form of a huge fox, his fur is the same colour as his hair as well as his eyes, surrounded by red markings around it's body. A veil of mist always surrounds him in this form.
He can choose to alter his appearance and outlook at will, and he does that often, usually posing as a beautiful traveling maiden to bait humans.
Xī Wàng has a subconscious habit of flipping an ancient golden coin (the sort with a square hole in the middle) whenever he is thinking or contemplating about something.
His weapon comes in the form of a wagasa, a traditional Japanese umbrella. The colour and patterns on the umbrella changes according to his mood, although neutrally, it is dark purple with white spirals.
(my Art for this commission make him look a bit young.. and liek a girl but the ref. pic made him look like a chick too idk i like it quite a bit to be honest)
I used to have trouble trying to give my hermaphrodites pronouns, but I picked up the habit from someone I know to use "hie", "hem" and "hiz" for more male persuasions and "shi", "hir" and "hirs" for more female.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
